WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Young Learners’ School recognizes that circumstances may arise where a student needs to be withdrawn from the school during an ongoing academic year. The following withdrawal policy outlines the procedures and guidelines to be followed:
1. Notification and Intimation
Parents or guardians who intend to withdraw their child from the school must provide a written notice to the school administration. The notice should include the student’s name, class, reason for withdrawal, and the intended date of withdrawal. It is advisable to provide the notice well in advance, preferably at least one month prior to the intended withdrawal date.
2. Clearance Process
Upon receiving the withdrawal notice, the school administration will initiate the clearance process. Parents or guardians are required to complete all necessary paperwork and formalities related to the withdrawal. This may include settling outstanding dues and returning school materials to the school.
3. Transfer Certificate
To facilitate a smooth transition for the withdrawing student, the school will prepare and provide the necessary transfer certificate and any other relevant documents required by the new educational institution, if applicable. The transfer certificate will be issued after all necessary clearances have been obtained and the student’s academic and financial obligations have been fulfilled.
4. Exit Interview
To gain insights and feedback that can contribute to our continuous improvement, the school may offer an optional exit interview with the parents or guardians and the withdrawing student. The purpose of the exit interview is to understand the reasons for withdrawal, gather feedback on the school’s programs and services and address any concerns or suggestions provided by the parents or guardians.
We strive to ensure a smooth and supportive withdrawal process for students and their families. The school administration is available to assist parents or guardians with any questions or concerns related to the withdrawal process and to provide the necessary support during this transition period.
